1st Quarter DEC Meeting to be held at American Legion Post #276, hosted by Chapter 13, 8068 Quarterfield Road, Severn, Maryland 21144. Saturday, October 19, 2024. The staff meeting begins at 9:00 AM – Regular DEC Meeting starts at 10:00 AM. Chapter Officer training will be conducted at this meeting.

Chapter 33 to host a Veterans Claims Clinic at The First Baptist Church of Guilford for their Outreach Program, Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, 7504 Oakland Mills Rd., Columbia, MD 21046. For more information, please call 410-446-1247. Please bring the following to this event: a copy of your Military Discharge, DD 214 or other service record, VA Claim Number, if one was issued, and any VA Correspondence or Rating Decision letters. Surviving spouses are invited to participate in this event.

2nd Annual Veterans Day Event at Towson University
The Baltimore County Commission on Veterans Affairs is hosting a Veterans Day Celebration, Resource Fair, & Football Tailgate at Towson University on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. During this event, DAV will be having a Claims Clinic being held in the Union Building, 8000 York Road, Towson, Maryland. Service Officers should arrive by 9:00 AM or earlier and park at the Union garage. This event is sponsored in connection with the Towson University Military and Veterans Center, tuvetcenter@towson.edu, or (410) 704-2991. Veterans are encouraged to bring the following documents to this event: a copy of the Military Discharge Certificate, DD Form 214 or other service record, VA Claim Number, if one was issued and any VA Correspondence or Rating Decision letters. Annual Commander’s Holiday Party

DAV and DAVA members are invited to attend the Annual Commander’s Holiday Party, to be held at Elks Lodge #2482, 160 Truck House Road, Severna Park, Maryland 21146 from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
RSVP to Nicole Dunn by Saturday, December 7, 2024. Send your response to nicolebost.dav@gmail.com. Spouses and Partners are welcomed to attend. Attire for the event is After Five/Semi-Formal. This will be “A Classy Affair,” therefore, dress wear for men includes: suit and tie or open collared shirts. Dress wear for women includes: gowns, dresses, or pants suits. No DAV apparel, baseball hats, or casual wear allowed.
